The fee, explained.
It's a fair question, and one of the first ones people ask. Here's the whole answer, in full.
What it pays for
- Reading every booking, then building a small table of people who should actually enjoy each other. This is the slow part, and it's the part that matters.
- Finding the restaurant, booking it and holding it, so a table of strangers isn't standing outside a full place on a Saturday night.
- Most of all, it's what makes people show up. A free seat is the one everyone feels fine about skipping, and a table of three isn't the night we promised you.
What it isn't
- It isn't your food or your drinks. Those you settle on the night, like any dinner out.
- It isn't a membership you're locked into. Book one seat at a time, whenever you like.
- It isn't a dating fee. People come for different reasons and we don't promise you any of them.
What a night actually costs you
| Your seat at the table | ₦5,000 per seat |
| Food and drinks, on the night | Usually ₦15,000 to ₦40,000, depending on the spot |
| Anything else | Nothing |
We send you the restaurant 24 hours before, so you can look at the menu and know exactly what you're walking into.
The rest of it
Your seat at a curated table, interest-based matching, the restaurant reservation handled for you, and the venue details 24 hours before. Food and drinks are paid at the restaurant on the night.
Tell us more than 72 hours before and we'll refund you or move you to another dinner, your call. Between 72 and 24 hours you get credit for a future dinner. Read the full policy.
Tell us honestly afterwards. We read every word, and it changes who sits where next time.
A small group of people you haven't met, matched to you off the same questions you answered. You find out who when you sit down, and that's on purpose.
One table, good people.
See you there.
